It would have been a little over five years now! But in terms of literature, since it is considered a bit "recent" there wouldn't be much besides any journals and books written by scholars and riftfarers themselves. Any questions regarding how things were would sound very similar to how things go in DWRP games where a bunch of otherworld PCs suddenly appear: there was fear, confusion, and hesitation because the locals were like what is happening?? before various incidents where everyone had to band together allowed them all to finally adapt to each other. A lot of early riftfarers coming from modern worlds and sharing their knowledge on technology helped a lot. Escordvi already had magitech developing, but a lot of the more "modern" tech is thanks to that knowledge (like the shellphones and more advanced navigation systems on the ships—before the riftfarers they already had early systems, but they became more advanced after. Think of the difference between 1960s computer tech versus later-90s/early 2000s with the shellphones the most advanced). Now the riftfarers are considered more like "temporary trans-dimensional visitors" that will come and go at random times due to the rifts.
Of course this means they have also faced riftfarers who tried to harm them instead, but due to how there are already individuals and beings that have similar dispositions in their world, rather than anything new they just treated them similarly and dealt with them as needed. In a world where there are already powerful entities and individuals that can be violent and destructive, a "villain from another world" isn't really so unique or enough to taint the entire riftfarer group. The fact that everyone's natural abilities do not work without tattoos or relics help with that, too, as it now means everyone is basically on an even playing field.
There are riftfarers who have settled in with plenty who do wish to stay and have made efforts to do so either by looking for the treasure map pieces that would lead to the relic rumored to have caused the rifts, or try other means to control or close the rifts. However, only a small handful from that first initial waves of riftfarers are still around, many having been returned to their world by the rifts. Some have disappeared to find their own islands to inhabit, others are still out there searching, and all their whereabouts and fates are unknown. Maybe one day one will return to share their stories...
But there are still plenty who have been around at least a year or two or three, and as mentioned there are journals and other books published by them of their accounts in living in Escordvi and some of their worlds, though usually told in a fictional sense.
tldr if you imagine it as Escordvi as a 5 year old game and the PCs are a bunch of new applicants coming in at that stage of the game's life, it's kind of that vibe re: locals towards riftfarers.

Hope that helps!
