Hello! I have a question regarding character abilities. Miriam here is a Shardbinder, meaning that she can absorb a fragment of demonic/supernatural power from a felled enemy (in, uh, very dramatic fashion) and use one of their abilities herself or summon them briefly (summons range from bats and rats to dragons, the more powerful the creature the less time she can keep them summoned, sometimes just a few moments).

Once her abilities are unlocked, would Miriam be able to absorb shards here, or only use the ones she already has? She has a very pressing IC reason not to use this often (she'll fossilize and die if she overuses the shards or has too many embedded in her body at once), and I plan to limit how much I do with it.
