Eltrut (and other neutral places in general): Jail time for a few nights Elah: Jail time for at least a week, hefty fine, and community service Nogard: Day out on the stockades so people can throw rotten fruit at and humiliate all day, and have to take "remedial thief courses" while wearing a sign that says, "I am here because I got caught."
Note: For a Corsair, the remedial courses would still be issued even if they were caught and served jail time in Eltrut, Elah, or anywhere else. They just wouldn't do the stockades because being caught, especially by a Paladin, is humiliating and shameful enough.
