Character: Benedikta Harman | garudas
Type: Player plot/event.
Idea: Within the first week of May, thanks to a Very Big emotional trigger, Benedikta will be fully priming into her Eikon, Garuda, a massive kaiju-sized winged harpy. Eltrut, Nogard, as well as any other nearby islands will be shrouded in violent winds and thick, black storm clouds as she wreaks havoc on the Leviathans and the open seas. There will be several environmental and magical effects that can come into play, just listing off some that could be possible:

🍃 Storms and wind damage: tornadoes and wind tunnels that are strong enough to pick up people and small boats, a mix of high and receding tides, extremely violent storms at sea that crews might have to work together to weather. The high tides will cause damage to the Leviathans that will need to be fixed after the fact (sorry!). Crews can have the option to have their ships damaged as well if they would like, or even crashing up from the port onto the actual Leviathan themselves.

🍃 Birds: aggressive birds and birdkin, awakens/creates some "eldritch horror" type birds, all of them attacking people unprovoked, larger ones even swooping in and taking people back to their nests. After they have taken enough people, all of the birds will leave to a place on Eltrut to take them there. People will need to rescue them, fight their way through the giant mess of nests and terrifying feathered beasts. The gryphons on the crew island will be split, male gryphons rushing in to help people get to safety and fight off any lingering egis, and the females being the more aggressive ones, attacking both humans and their own kind. All birds and birdkin will be extra aggressive to any lightning users.

🍃 Wind Egis: winged avatars resembling her sisters, Chirada and Suparna, will spawn all throughout the affected locations. They will attempt to either fight or hypnotize others (think sirens). They will use it to try to kidnap women to "take them to safety", but will also try to lure men out to sea to drown them.

🍃 Garuda encounter: I will be taking signups (around a maximum of five, depending on how I'm feeling when signups come around) for anyone to attempt to approach, reason with, or fight Garuda. The threads will not be long as she will likely leave before things get too drawn out, but players can note down if they want anything to happen to their characters in the threads before she does. However, it will be Cid/Ramuh who will be the one to turn her back after a fight over the water. Signups for this as well as the info post will go up on April 27th.
