When a player goes on hiatus, they have the option to have their character be on auto-pilot (ie, handwaving whatever activity they would have done during the month) or go into a deep sleep. Should this happen, a protective bubble will appear around the character so no harm can come to them. The bubble also serves as a sign that the character is just asleep. Why this happens, no one knows. They can only guess it is because they are not native to the world.
A player can be exempt from AC if the hiatus period is more than 21 days. Any less and players will need to provide AC. Players must try to post prior to or on the expected date for this to count. We will not accept backdated hiatuses submitted after the first week to try and cover the whole month unless there were unexpected RL circumstances that occurred. We will always gladly work with anyone, so please use the Mod Contact for any issues. In such cases where exceptions are made, we may ask for double activity in the following month to make up for it.
